About
Tash is a Los Angeles-based director with a specific interest in the thriller and horror genres.
She was born in Northern Indiana and spent six years in New York City before moving out west. Though originally trained as an actor, she later transitioned to directing when forced to create her own content for an acting reel.
Tash's first short film, Bizaria, was released in 2013 and was screened at a Hollyshorts event at the TCL Chinese Theaters in Hollywood. The film was later licensed by ShortsTV and aired for three years on DirectTV.
Between 2013 and 2020, Tash directed nine more shorts both independently and as a hired director. She also created a web series that was also licensed by ShortsTV for a 3 year contract.
In 2020, she was hired at Icon Media, where she wrote, produced, and directed positive impact content. By the time Icon Media closed its doors at the end of August 2022, Tash had directed and produced around 45 pieces of content* for the company.
Tash also wrote, produced, and directed a thriller pilot pitch called Abstraction, which won 23 "Best Web Series/TV Pilot" awards and 10 additional "Official Selections." It was licensed by and is currently streaming on Vyre Network.
In 2025, the festival run will begin for "Nadine" which stars Grace Caroline Currey (Fall, Shazam!) Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) and Michael Bunin (Superstore) and is about a studio era actress who finally stands up to her oppressive producer. Tash serves as the writer and director on "Nadine." She and her producers are working on pitching a pilot version of the same name.
When she is not directing she works on sets of films, commercials and TV projects as a Line Producer, Coordinator, Production Manager and Producer.
*Due to Icon's sudden closing in the summer of 2022, approximately 18 of Tash's pieces remain unpublished.
